Die neuen '68er von Ägypten?
Die jungen Leute sind in Aufbruchsstimmung, nicht nur bei Horytna. Im Internet werden Themen offen diskutiert für die es früher kaum eine Plattform gab. So formierte sich im Netzwerk "Facebook" eine Gruppe, die zum Generalstreik am 6. April aufrief. Innerhalb weniger Tage wurden mehr als 70.000 Nutzer Mitglied.
Der zweite Streik anlässlich des 80. Geburtstags des Präsidenten war weniger erfolgreich. Doch Ahmed Samih ist sicher, dass in Ägypten gerade etwas ganz Neues entsteht.
Was hier passiere, sei das 1968 Ägyptens. Eine ganze Generation kämpfe um ihren Platz in der Gesellschaft. "In der ganzen politischen Geschichte Ägyptens haben wir noch nie so eine Bewegung gesehen."
und ich sage euch - es tut sich doch was bei den jungen intellektuellen!
